'Get Online Week' the BBC needs your help!

The BBC is co-ordinating 'Get Online Week' between the 18th-22nd October 2010. 10 million people in the UK have never used the internet before, which is more than a fifth of the population.

'Get Online Week' will see over 3,000 events taking place around the country which will be encouraging and supporting people to get online.

Media Mash Up!

Channel 7 is working with CPO Media to deliver a series of Media Mash Up! workshops to 20 lucky Whitgift students over the next few months! The students will create their own website, magazine and TV programmes to go out on Seven, Virgin Media 879 and on the website.

Round the world with Seven and it's community TV friends

Seven has been accepted to take part in the Link International Community TV project, where 12 community TV stations around the world will contribute short, localized segments of a traveler in their own community to develop a 90-minute feature length film called “The Traveller.” The film idea, originally conceived in Australia by Channel 31 Adelaide will be aired live on community TV stations worldwide to create 24-hour rolling broadcast around the world.
